Colby Corino’s roots run deep in the National Wrestling Alliance — a fact he made abundantly clear when he first arrived. Now Colby seeks to do more than ride the coattails of his legendary father, former NWA® World’s Heavyweight Champion Steve Corino.
At NWA 75, Corino defeated Kerry Morton to capture the NWA® World Junior Heavyweight title. More recently, though, “The Prince of Old School” has worked to prove he can compete against the best heavyweights in the business.
He’s advanced to the finals of The Jax Dane Memorial Heavyweight Tournament at The 2025 Crockett Cup. Should Colby win, he’s guaranteed a shot at “The Ten Pounds of Gold” once worn by his father.
