Presto! Adding “The Barker” Cody James almost instantly turned turned things around for “Magic” Jake Dumas and his lovely assistant CJ. The devious trio, rebranded Magic, Inc., became a bona fide threat in the National Wrestling Alliance.

The magical menagerie’s biggest surprise, though, was the evolution of CJ. Once a silent and seemingly clueless magician’s assistant, CJ was eventually revealed as a deceptively diabolical and shockingly skilled in-ring threat!

The trio was short-lived, but their impression on the National Wrestling Alliance lingers like a waft of “Magic” Jake’s cigarette smoke.
