Tiffany Nieves Admits: I Cost Natalia Markova the NWA Women's World Title

“La Princesa” Tiffany Nieves

“So I ‘robbed’ Natalia Markova of her opportunity at The Burke,” admits a smug Tiffany Nieves. “So what? She got what she deserved!”

Don’t expect an apology from the National Wrestlng Alliance star. According to “La Princesa,” she has no regrets about ruining Markova’s Women’s World Championship match on the latest episode of NWA Powerrr.

“I have ill-will toward Markova,” Nieves tells NationalWrestlingAlliance.com. “All she’s known for is her looks — and they kill the audience! Nobody wants to see her put that stank face on anyone!”

Markova faced champion Kenzie Paige on the Nov. 19 episode of Powerrr. It was a huge opportunity for the winner of the 2024 Burke invitational Gauntlet, cashing in the guaranteed shot at the NWA Women’s World title earned at NWA 76.

“When Natalia faced Kenzie, do you think I cared? Markova is an idiot!” an indifferent Nieves states.

“The only reason she won the Burke Invitational to begin with is because she capitalized on my genius idea!” she claims. “I pulled out the table — she didn’t!”

Nieves is technically correct. She did introduce a table into the fourth-annual, multi-competitor spectacle to crown a new No. 1 contender to the NWA Women’s World title. Unfortunately for “La Princesa,” she — not Markova — was sent crashing through the furniture, leading to a pinfall victory for “The Crush.”

Obviously furious about the outcome, Nieves plotted revenge at the worst possible time for her rival. Just as Markova gained the upper-hand, Nieves hit the ring to attack. Paige retained by disqualification, enraging Markova.

“It’s not my fault she was distracted by ‘La Princesa!’ She should have been focused on beating Kenzie, but she looked away — and, yes, I blocked her opportunity!” Nieves gloats.

I’ve said it since I arrived: Natalia Markova doesn’t have what it takes to be the NWA Women’s World Champion,” she says. “She can’t win ‘the big one,’ but Tiffany Nieves can! And with Markova out of that way, that makes me the No. 1 contender!”

An enraged Markova might have other thoughts. Nieves, though, is focused on Kenzie Paige and The Burke.

“I’m not like Natalia Markova,” she insists.

“‘La Princesa’ is ‘The Best at Everything,’” Nieves concludes. “I’m in the National Wrestling Alliance for just one reason — to become the champion. Nobody’s going to distract Tiffany Nieves from what I’m destined to be! Get it? Got it! Bueno!”
