NWA POWERRR April 28th Recap: Will Dr. Vik win the affection of La Princesa? The Good Brothers in Action; The first ever Shanghai Pain Stick Lethal Ladder Match; and a new #1 contender to the Burke!

This week's NWA Powerrr was filled with multiple opportunities! Dr. Vik looked to win the affections of Tiffany Nieves, The Good Brothers in Tag Team Action, A new #1 contender to the NWA Women's World Champion, and much more!

Dr. Vik pulls off a huge upset victory to become the #1 contender to the NWA Worlds Heavyweight Championship

Dr. Vik def Wrecking Ball Legursky

The show opened with a #1 contender's match for the NWA Worlds Heavyweight Title between Wrecking Ball Legursky &...Dr. Vik. Before you ask, no, Dr. Vik is not a wrestler, but it seems at this point he will do whatever he can to win the affection of NWA World Women's Television Champion Tiffany Nieves. Things did not start off well for Dr. Vik, attempting to headbutt Wrecking Ball Legursky, which backfired quickly for him.

The match seemed pretty 1 sided for most of the match, as Wrecking Ball Legursky was having his way with Dr. Vik on the outside!

Dr. Vik was able to sidestep Legursky when he came at him on the outside, making Wrecking Ball collide head first with the steel post and giving Dr. Vik some well needed breathing room.

Somehow, Dr. Vik was able to beat the 10 count back into the ring, and won via count out to become the new #1 contender to the NWA Worlds Heavyweight Champion, Silas Mason, later on in the episode.

The Good Brothers in Tag Team Action

The Good Brothers def The Rewind Society

In our next match, we saw the 9x World Tag Team Champions, The Good Brothers, take on the Rewind Society in a Crockett Cup Tune Up match. It didn't take long for Doc Gallows to gain control of the match over Rewind Society, and as soon as Karl Anderson got in, they started showing off there well known tag team offense!

The Good Brothers made quick work of Rewind Society, hitting a Magic Killer & 3 count for the pinfall victory, heading into the Crockett Cup Quarterfinals with a lot of momentum!

Sirena Veil becomes the new #1 contender to the NWA World Women's Championship

Sirena Veil & Haley J def Pretty Empowered

In our next match-up we saw women's tag action where we saw Sirena Veil & Haley J take on Pretty Empowered. Whoever could score the pinfall or submission victory would become the new #1 contender to Natalia Markova & the NWA World Women's Championship. The match started off with Veil & Haley with the advantage, with Veil showing off her viscous offense!

Pretty Empowered seemed to have trouble getting control of the match, as Sirena & Haley were able to keep Kenzie in the corner, which led to many 2 on 1 attacks.

Kenzie was finally able to get to her corner though to tag in her sister Kylie into the match, and she let loose on both of her opponents, showing why she is one of the rising stars in the NWA Women's Division! Once they were able to get Haley J on the outside, they got some revenge on Sirena.

Once Kenzie went to the outside to take the fight to Haley J, Sirena was able to get the advantage over Kylie inside the ring, hitting Bloodbath to get the pinfall victory, and become the new #1 contender to the NWA World Women's Champion, Natalia Markova.

The First ever Shanghai Pain Stick Lethal Ladder Match

Daisy Kills def Eric Smalls

Our next match was the first ever Shanghai Pain Stick Lethal Ladder Match, where Daisy Kills & Eric Smalls looked to settle the score once and for all!

Now obviously no one ever told Daisy or Eric the golden rule about ladders, which is never walk underneath one....well they paid the price with some bad luck quite quickly!

Daisy was showing absolutely no mercy to Eric Smalls, exacting some revenge for many week's of embarrassment. He became viscous once the match went to the outside.

That was until Smalls was able to get under the ring and lure Kills with a kendo stick, which unfortunately led to some more bad luck for Daisy.

Eric Smalls was able to climb the ladder and retrieve the Shanghai Pain Stick, however, bad luck found him, as kills hit him right in the nuggets and gain the pinfall victory.

Main event: Can Dr. Vik pull of 2 upsets in One Night?

NWA Worlds Heavyweight Championship Match

Silas Mason (C) def Dr. Vik

The main event of this week's episode saw the 10 pounds of gold up for grabs, as Silas Mason defended the Worlds Heavyweight Title against Dr. Vik.

The match started with...well Dr. Vik was honestly scared so he ran to the outside, where Silas followed for the chase, right before of course saying his hello's to TV-MA's Ms. Starr.

Once Silas was able to get his hands on the doctor, to the surprise of no one, he started to manhandle him, and bending him over his knee for being a "bad doctor"

In the end, Silas hit a MASSIVE ThrillRide on Dr. Vik, securing the pinfall victory and retaining the NWA Worlds Heavyweight Championship.

This coming Friday on a brand new episode of NWA Powerrr and our debut on Comet TV, The Crockett Cup Rolls On! Who will take the #16 seed for the Crockett Cup?? Can they then survive last year's winners and the #1 seed in the Crockett Cup, the NWA World Tag Team Champions, The Immortals? The NWA Women's TV Title is on the line as Tiffany Nieves defends against Gisele Shaw.
