NWA POWERRR July 11th Recap: Kerry Morton takes on Axton Ray; New #1 contenders for the US Tag Titles are decided; Magic Jake Dumas returns; Carson Drake in Singles Actions; and All Hail King Trevor!

This weekend's episode of NWA Powerrr was filled with exciting action including Kerry Morton taking on NWA's newest signed talent, Axton Ray. As well as a new #1 contender being named for the NWA United States Tag Team Titles, Magic Jake Dumas making his return, Carson Drake taking on Ricard Adonis, and in The main event, Pretty Boy Smooth & Hayden Backlund take on The Royal Court.

Kerry Morton picks up the victory, and has some words for Silas Mason

In our first match, we saw Mr. Comet TV Kerry Morton take on Axton Ray in singles competition. Kerry seemed to have little to no concern for Axton, but he learned quickly that was a big mistake.

Kerry regained the advantage back in the match up, hitting his signature tully special on Axton.

Axton was going so easily though, and began showing off exactly what earned him a contract with the National Wrestling Alliance.

In the end, after a low blow with the referee distracted and a kiss it goodbye, Kerry Morton was able to pick up the victory. Afterwards, Kyle Davis made his way to the ring, to get some words from Mr. Comet TV himself, who held nothing back on the Worlds Heavyweight Champion. But Silas didn't wait, as he made his way to the ring to try and take out Kerry Morton.

Silas has had enough, he made it official that next week he and Kerry Morton will go one on one for the 10 pounds of Gold!

The Hardway earn a shot at the NWA United States Tag Team Titles at Hard Times 6

The Hardway def Death Row Militia, Jeff Paul & Tyler Stevens, & Top Team

In our next match, we saw a 4 way tag team match to determine the new #1 contenders to the NWA United States Tag Team Titles at Hard Times 6. Dalton McKenzie started off strong, but got distracted by the champs, which Death Row Militia wasted no time in showing off there tag team synchronicity, even earning some praise from the champs.

In the end, The inaugural NWA Chicago Tag Team Champions got back control of the match, and ended up picking up the victory and will now be facing the Slimeballz at Hard Times 6 for the NWA United States Tag Team Titles.

Magic Jake Dumas is back, and makes easy work of Chico Adams

In our next match up, we saw the NWA Return of Magic Jake Dumas, who we had not seen in over a year. He called out Billy, Kyle, and the rest of the higher ups for not reaching out to him, then called out anyone in the locker room to step up and see if magic is real.

The open challenge was answered by Chico Adams, who Jake wasted no time taking the offense too, dishing him to the outside where he looked done.

In the end, Magic Jake brought him back into the ring, for a neckbreaker and the 3-count to secure the pinfall victory and a successful return to the NWA.

Can anyone truly stop the Most Successful Man in the NWA?

Carson Drake def Richard Adonis

In our next matchup we saw the Federation of Champions Carson Drake take on NWA new comer, Richard Adonis who looked to prove a point to the most successful man in the NWA.

It was a back and forth most of the match, at one point Adonis & Drake were exchanging chops before Carson was able to take Adonis off of his feet.

Towards the end of the match, it was looking like Adonis may pick up the victory, that was until the manager of champions, Aron Stevens got involved and hit him with the loaded glove!

In the end, after some help from Aron, Carson Drake was able to hit the Market Crash on Richard Adonis to secure the pinfall victory and continue his single's match winning streak!

The Royal Court get some revenge for their King in the main event!

The Royal Court def Pretty Boy Smooth & Hayden Backlund

The main event of this week's episode saw The Royal Courts Mike Knox & Tyler Franks take on Pretty Boy Smooth & Hayden Backlund. Pretty Boy Smooth & Backlund wasting no time taking control of the match.

It was starting to not look good for the Royal Court as Tyler Franks was stuck in the ring with no one to tag, He got a knee struck on Pretty Boy but Mike Knox was still recovering on the outside. Tyler almost got the tag, but Hayden Backlund cut him off at the pass!

Once Tyler Franks was able to tag in Knox, he took over the match! Landing a crossbody on Backlund, regaining control of the match for his team.

In the end, Mike Knox was able to hit a pop up powerbomb on Hayden Backlund to secure the victory for the Royal Court.
