NWA POWERRR March 17th Recap: Celebrating 250 Episodes of POWERRR; Crockett Cup Season Officially Begins; Tiffany Nieves defends her Women's World Television Title; And Heavyweight Action!

This week's NWA Powerrr featured a lot of high-stakes action and title matches. NWA celebrated 250 episodes, as well as NWA President William Patrick Corgan's Birthday. We got Crockett Cup season officially underway, the stipulations were set for Idol vs Mason for the 10 pounds of Gold, La Princesa defended the Women's World Television Title, and 2 titans clashed in a heavyweight main event.

The Immortals make quick work of Jack n Eddie in a Crockett Cup Exhibition

The show opened up with The Immortals taking on NWA Chicago's Jack n Eddie in a Crockett Cup Exhibition Match. To no surprise, the reigning NWA World Tag Team Champions & 2025 Crockett Cup winners made very quick work of their challengers, hitting immortality to get the pinfall victory. Afterwards, the champs made their intentions known, that they plan to become the first team to go back-to-back this year.

4 Teams vide for a spot in the 2026 Crockett Cup

Qualifying Match to be in the 4-way to secure the 16th seed in the 2026 Crockett Cup

Sins & Grins def Pretty City Express, The Lost, and Corey Hollis & Brady Pierce

Our next match of the night saw 4 teams looking to make their way into this year's Crockett Cup. It was NWA Texas's Sins & Grins vs NWA New Mexico's Pretty City Express vs The Lost vs Corey Hollis & Brady Pierce. Sins & Grins took the upperhand early, showing off their tag team offense to the rest of the field.

It didn't take long though for former NWA New Mexico Tag Team Champions, Pretty City Express to show off some offense of their own. Taking advantage of the match once they got Bam Bam Malone solidified in their corner.

The one team everyone seemed to forget about though, the lost, started gaining the upperhand, including some insane offense from Alex Misery, as well as Gaagz being useful as a human weapon.

In the end, Sins & Grins were able to land a combo finisher of Izzy's Snake Bite & Bam Bam's Kickstart, They were able to secure the victory and get one step closer into this year's Crockett Cup.

La Princesa defends the NWA Women's World Television Title

Liviyah def Tiffany Nieves via disqualification

In our next match, We saw La Princesa Tiffany Nieves defend the NWA Women's World Television Title against Liviyah.

As we know wherever TV-MA is, the TOWERING Gretta is always lingering not too far behind. Thanks to a slight distraction from Gretta, Tiffany was able to keep the upperhand over Liviyah.

However, it didn't take long for Liviyah to start firing back on the Women's Television Champion, reversing an outside post throw, slamming Nieve's face onto the side of the ring!

It didn't take long for La Princesa to regain control of the match, landing one of her signature moves, the ratings drop, on Liviyah for a close 2 count.

In the end, La Princesa didn't want to deal with Liviyah much longer, as she called in her GIANT Gretta to handle her. After a chokeslam from Gretta, The ref threw out the match, awarding the victory to Liviyah. But still your Women's World Television Champion, La Princesa, Tiffany Nieves.

KC Cazana "warms up" ahead of the 2026 Crockett Cup

In our next matchup, We saw KC Cazana in singles action against Jake Cross. Before the match started, it seemed NWA Territory President Joe Cazana was a bit "triggered" by some of the signs he was seeing in the stands.

Jake Cross got the early advantage over KC, But it didn't take long for KC to make the tides turn and regain the advantage in this match. He made very light work of Jake Cross.

In the end KC was able to secure the victory over the Jake Cross. Afterwards met with Joe Cazana in the ring, where Joe was very vocal how he thought it was a crock and that the Country Gentlemen should be the #1 seeds in this year's Crockett Cup, not #6.

NWA Celebrates 250 Episodes of POWERRR and William Patrick Corgan's Birthday

In our next segment we celebrated 250 episodes of NWA Powerrr. In the ring were NWA World Television Champion Bryan Idol, Kyle Davis, and NWA President William Patrick Corgan. Corgan addressed the crowd, thanking them for their continued support for NWA.

Bryan Idol also surprised the NWA President by cashing in his lucky 7 opportunity for the 10 pounds of Gold and bring back the Worlds Heavyweight Championship to Billy. That didn't sit lightly with The Thrillbilly, as he made his way to ring and did not hold back on how he felt about Bryan Idol.

Question now on everyone's mind, when will these 2 clash for the 10 pounds of Gold?

2 Massive Heavyweights Clash in the main event of NWA Powerrr

Alex Hammerstone def Carnage

The main event of this week's episode 2 Heavyweight Titans clash as Alex Hammerstone made his return to the NWA to take on one half of BFT, Carnage. Hammerstone was able to take the early advantage over Carnage, showing off his raw powerrr!

It didn't take long though for Carnage to regain control of this match, hitting his own powerful offense on Hammerstone and nearly pinning him after a massive powerslam.

In the end, Hammerstone was able to land the Nightmare Pendulum on Carnage for the pinfall victory. What is next for this massive heavyweight?
