NWA POWERRR May 1st Recap: Who will claim the #16 Seed in the Crockett Cup Tournament? A new Champion Crowned, and a shocking upset in the main event!

This week's NWA Powerrr was filled with exciting action and shocking upsets! We also made our official debut on Comet TV, and we can't thank you all enough for showing out last night! The #16 seed in the Crockett Cup was decided, a new NWA World Women's Television Champion was crowned, and a shocking upset in the main event shook up the Crockett Cup brackets!
Titans of Calamity go 1 step closer to becoming the #16 seed
Titans of Calamity def Jack n Eddie, Death Row Militia & Devastation Reborn
The show opened with an opportunity to become the #16 seed in the 2026 Crockett Cup Tournament. This match was for the #16b spot, and the winners would take on Sin's & Grin's to determine the #16 seed. Devastation Reborn wasted no time putting the damage on Eddie to get things started in the match.
Jack was able to tag himself in and get some offense on his teams side, and when 1/2 of Devastation Reborn hit the ropes, Talos was able to hit a blind tag. Jack moved out of the way, leading to big dive to the outside!
Once the blind tag was made, Titans of Calamity made their way into the ring, and were able to hit Ride the Lightning on Jack to secure the pinfall victory and the #16b slot to take on Sins & Grins.

In our next match, Sins & Grins made their way to ring to waste no time. The #16 seed for the Crockett Cup tournament was going to be decided right now. They wasted no time taking it to the AJPW World Tag Team Champions on home soil!
However, once Talos was able to make his way into the match, The Titans of Calamity were able to take over the match and man handle Sins & Grins.
In the end, the Titans of Calamity were able to hit Ride the Lightning on Bam Bam Malone to secure the pinfall victory and the #16 seed in the NWA Crockett Cup. They will now face off against the NWA World Tag Team Champions the Immortals in the Opening Round in the main event.

NWA World Women's Television Championship Match
Gisele Shaw def Tiffany Nieves (C) to become the new NWA World Women's Television Champion
In our next match-up we saw La Princesa Tiffany Nieves defend the NWA World Women's Television Title against the Quintessential Diva, Gisele Shaw.
It didn't take long for Shaw to get an early advantage in the match, getting Tiffany in the corner and landing a flurry of european uppercuts on her!
Tiffany was seeming to have difficulty getting an advantage in this match, as Gisele kept handing over a huge flurry of offense to the champion.
Tiffany was able to begin to get an advantage over the challenger with a little help from TV-MA, but even with her best offense, she seemed to not be able to put away Gisele.
In the end, after a lot of back and forth, Gisele Shaw was able to hit her knee strike to gain the pinfall victory and become the brand new NWA World Women's Television Champion!
Main event: Titans of Calamity bust up the Crockett Cup Brackets!
NWA Crockett Cup Opening Round Matchup
The main event of this week's episode saw the Titans of Calamity in there 3rd match of the night as they took on the #1 seed, the 2025 Crockett Cup Winners & current NWA World Tag Team Champions, The Immortals. Titans of Calamity decided to start the match off with some mind games to Kratos.
Kratos didn't take too fondly to that gesture, returning the favor, and once Talos got into the ring, let's just say these 2 let out some "past frustrations" out on one another.
Kratos was able to get the upperhand on Talos, and once Odinson was tagged into the match, Talos was greeted with an of Asgardian Uppercut!
Talo's was able to regain the advantage in the match, and once he did Titans of Calamity started hitting a lot of Tag Team Offense on Odinson while Kratos was stuck on the outside.
Odinson however showed there is a reason he & Kratos are the NWA World Tag Team Champions and last years winners. He was able to pick up talos and slam him down for some breathing room.
Once Kratos got back into the match, the advantage was able to switch over to the Immortals. He was able to get Ayabe into position for a falcon's arrow, just not quite enough to get the victory.
In the end, The Immortals were setting up for immortality when Talos was able to break it up. They hit Ride the Lightning on Odinson to get the pinfall victory and knock out the #1 seed in the opening round!
On this Afternoon's new episode of NWA Powerrr, the Crockett Cup action rolls on as The Southern Six take on the Wrestling Machines in the Quarter Finals, as well as the Colons take on The Country Gentlemen.
We will also a new #1 contender to the NWA World Junior Heavyweight Championship crowned as Alex Misery takes on Damian Fenrir.
