NWA POWERRR September 19th Recap: The NWA World Tag Team Championships are on the line; a new #1 contender to the 10 pounds of gold; Nattie Neidhart speaks; and a good old fashioned Texas Death Match!
This weekend's episode of NWA Powerrr saw lots of exciting action from NWA 78, including the NWA World Tag Team Titles up for grabs, a new #1 contender to the 10 pounds of gold was decided, we heard from the Low-Key legend Nattie Neidhart ahead of her triple threat match against Kenzie & Kylie Paige, and a Texas Deathmatch to settle a feud brewing for weeks in the main event!
The Country Gentlemen got some new straps and retained "By the Book"
NWA World Tag Team Championship Match
The Country Gentlemen (C) def BFT
In our opening match this week, the NWA World Tag Team Titles were up for grabs as the Country Gentlemen returned from their European Tour to defend the gold against longtime rivals BFT. Before the match could begin, NWA Territory President Joe Cazana had a surprise for his boys. They debutted new belts for his boys that would properly match their gear. They didn't waste much time once BFT entered the ring, jumping them before the bell could even ring.
It didn't take long though for BFT to regain the advantage in the match once more, once Carnage was able to land a massive superkick on AJ Cazana, but the Cazana's weren't going down that easily, then landing some massive tag team offense of their own.
The reunited BFT were really beginning to rally against the champions, starting to land some tag team offense of their own as well! But in the end, The Cazana's were able to retain thanks to a little help of keeping it "By the Book"
Heath becomes the new #1 Contender to the 10 pounds of gold on his NWA Powerrr debut!
#1 Contenders Match to the NWA Worlds Heavyweight Title
Heath def Effy, Kratos, Talos, & Pretty Boy Smooth
In our next match, we saw a new #1 contender decided for the 10 pounds of gold in a 5 way match between Pretty Boy Smooth, Talos, Kratos, Effy, and the NWA Debut of former WWE superstar, Heath. It didn't take long for this match to go off the rails, with all the BEEF we had in one ring!
Kratos was able to continue having control over the match, after a massive dive to the outside took out the rest of the field, and then manhandling Effy back inside the ring.
It looked Kratos may have this match won, that was until the one man band Heath began with a flurry of offense of his own on Kratos.
Heath was on fire...until Talos made his way back into the ring and made him RIDE THE LIGHTNING, which then led to a towering face-off between Pretty Boy & Talos interupted by Effy...who lived to regret that decision quickly.
Effy was on a run, until Pastor C-Lo made his way on the ring apron, only to be hit by Effy. That wasn't taken well by Pretty Boy, who hit him with Hoss cross, followed by a Penthouse Bomb.
It looked like Pretty Boy had the match won, until Heath made his way in to throw Pretty Boy out of the ring, and cover Effy to steal the victory and become the new #1 Contender to the NWA Worlds Heavyweight Title.

In our next segment, we had Kyle Davis in the ring to speak with WWE Superstar Nattie Neidhart ahead of her NWA Powerrr debut against the NWA World Women's Tag Team champions, Kenzie & Kylie Paige in a triple threat match.
Let's just say, the Lowkey legend didn't hold back on what she had to say about the paige sisters ahead of their match.
Alex Taylor gets his revenge on Ricky Morton

In this week's main event match up, we saw a feud that has been boiling over for weeks come to a head as Too Hot too Trot Alex Taylor took on Hall of Famer Ricky Morton in a Texas Death Match. Ricky wasn't waiting for Alex to come down to the ring, as he jumped him in the back before he could even start walking down!
It didn't take long for the Hall of Famer to start littering the entire ring with weapons, including thumbtacks! It seemed more like Ricky Morton wanted to punish Alex Taylor, then beat him in a match.
It almost seemed like a 2 on 1 match, seeing that Kerry Morton was out at the ring the entire time with his father, and was helping him take out his former stable mate.
Finally towards the end of the match, Too Hot to Trot was able to regain the upper hand and used Ricky Morton's tactics against him, successfully hitting the Green Whistle on the thumbtacks to secure a pinfall victory.
Next Week on NWA POWERRR
The 10 pounds of Gold is on the line, Thrillbilly Silas Mason puts the NWA Worlds Heavyweight Championship against #1 Contender Carson Drake.
And ahead of their triple threat match against WWE Superstar Nattie Neidhart, are the paige sister's okay?
