Reigning NWA® World Tag Team Champion (with partner Mike Knox) Former Two-Time NWA® World’s Heavyweight Champion, NWA® National Champion, 2023 Crockett Cup Winner with Knox Half of the reigning World Tag Team Champions with partner Mike Knox, Trevor Murdoch has become a modern-day National Wrestling Alliance legend. Murdoch came out of self-imposed retirement in 2019 to kick-off the Lightning One Era. Since then, he’s become a two-time NWA® World’s Heavyweight Champion and spent 182 days as National Heavyweight Champion. With rival-turned-partner Knox, Murdoch won the 2023 Crockett Cup in Winston-Salem, NC. They repeatedly challenged Blunt Force Trauma for the NWA® World Tag Team titles , thwarted by manager Aron Stevens each time, before eventually defeating the masked duo for the championships at Back to the Territories in June 2024.
