This week's special primetime episode of NWA Powerrr included a lot of exciting action, including a NO DQ Tag Match, The burke being defended, Carson Drake in singles action, and new women's tag team champions crowned in the main event!
The Slimeballz get their revenge on BFT in NO DQ Chaos!
No DQ Match
The Slimeballz def. BFT
In our opening match this week, It was no DQ chaos as the Slimeballz took on BFT in a no DQ match after BFT cost the Slimeballz their chance at the NWA World Tag Team Titles a few weeks ago on Powerrr. BFT wasted no time at all taking the fight to the slimeballz.
The Slimeballz weren't going down without a fight, and they started to get the advantage back in the match, until BFT Carnage made his way back in with a chair.
Sage wasn't letting him get away with that so easily, as he began to choke carnage with a slimey Kendo Stick. Tommy & Sage got a table set up inside the ring, and it looked like they had the match won. That was until the NWA World Tag Team Champions, The Country Gentlemen came down to jump the Slimeballz.
It seems it would of been best for them to stay in the back. Joe Cazana went to hit Tommy with the Book, and ended up hitting Carnage instead. In the end, Tommy was able to roll up Carnage for the 3 count and secure the victory. That was definently NOT by the book.
Can anyone take Hayden Backlund's "Darlin" from him?
NWA World Junior Heavyweight Championship Match
Hayden Backlund (C) def. Damian Fenrir
In our next matchup, we saw the NWA World Junior Heavyweight Title up for grabs as Hayden Backlund defended the title against Damian Fenrir. It didn't take long for Fenrir's strength to be on full display, but once Backlund was able to take him to the outside, he got the match back in his favor.
Fenrir was able to rally back and get some good offense on Backlund, but once Backlund was able to distract Fenrir by almost colliding with the ref, he was given the perfect oppurtunity to spike him right on his head.
In the end, Backlund was able to lock in the chicken wing on Damian Fenrir for the submission victory, and to retain the NWA World Junior Heavyweight Championship.
Carson Drake makes quick work of Charlie Adams on NWA Powerrr
Carson Drake def. Charlie Adams
Our next matchup saw Carson Drake back in singles action against Charlie Adams. Charlie started the match by pushing Drakes buttons, this did not end well for him as Drake began showing a bit more of a vicious side. Even started to show off a bit, as he was making easy work of Adams. Tim Storm was not pleased on commentary.
In the end, Carson hit the Market Crash for the pinfall victory, but didn't stop their. He then "graced" the live audience with a live edition of the Carson Drake Experience.
New World Women's Tag Team Champions are crowned!
NWA World Women's Tag Team Championship Match
Liviyah & Mackenzie Morgan def. Pretty Empowered (C)
In this week's main event, we saw the NWA World Women's Tag Team Championships up for grabs in a 2 out of 3 falls match as Pretty Empowered put the gold on the line against 2 of NWAs newest signings, Liviyah & Mackenzie Morgan.
it was back and forth to start the match off, with back and forth roll ups, but Liviyah was able to pull off the surprise on Kylie, and land the first pinfall for her team! Pretty Empowered learned quickly they couldn't take this team lightly.
It started to seem like the challengers had the champions right where they wanted them, that was until Kenzie got fired up and unloaded and whole lot of offense on Liviyah & Morgan!
In the end, it just wasn't enough. Once Morgan & Liviyah were able to hit their pele kick/cradle ddt combination, it was game over. They secured the 2nd pinfall, and became the brand new NWA World Women's Tag Team Champions!
