NWA POWERRR September 12th Recap: A new Women's Television Champion has been crowned, the NWA National Title hangs in the balance, and which kingdom will rule the National Wrestling Alliance?
This weekend's episode of NWA Powerrr saw lots of exciting action from NWA 78, including a new NWA World Women's Television Champion being crowned, the NWA National Heavyweight Title being defended in a triple-threat ladder match, and who will win the Knights of the Round Table Tables Match in the main event.
Sirena Veil reigns Supreme and captures gold!
NWA World Women's Television Championship Match
Sirena Veil def Gisele Shaw (C) to become the new NWA World Women's Television Champion!
In our opening match this week, the NWA World Women's Television Championship was up for grabs as The Quintessential Diva Gisele Shaw defended the gold against the Supreme Sirena Veil. Sirena Veil wasted no time, bringing the fight to the champion.
However, Gisele wasn't going down without a fight, regaining the advantage in the match after hitting one of her signature combos!
Paige Coillet seemed to have enough of Lou D'Angeli heckling at her from across the ring, and took him out, which didn't sit well with The Quintessential Diva, as she took out Paige very quickly on the outside.
However, Sirena took advantage of the distraction, hitting bloodbath and securing the pinfall victory, to become the brand new NWA World Women's Television Champion!
Bryan Idol gets his revenge on the FOC and retains the National Heavyweight Title!
NWA National Heavyweight Title Ladder Match
Bryan Idol def Mike Mondo & Slade
In our next match, we saw the NWA National Heavyweight title up for grabs, as Bryan Idol defended the gold in a Triple Threat Ladder Match against FOC's Mondo & Slade. Bryan was on the offense from the beginning, with the match basically being a 3 on 1 situation, which eventually caught up to him.
It began to look like the FOC had Bryan Idol right where they wanted him, that was until Mondo became fixed on Bryan Idol's mother, who he attacked back at Hard Times 6!
It didn't take long for some discension to come into play, as Slade was going after the National Heavyweight Title for himself, which led to a very mad Mondo!
And you can tell this match was personal, instead of going for the belt from the top of the ladder, Idol took Mondo, getting some more revenge for him putting hands on his beloved mother!
In the end, Bryan Idol was able to take out Slade, Mondo, and even Aron Stevens, to successfully retain the NWA National Heavyweight Championship!
The Royal Court takes out the FOC!
Knights of the Round Table Tables Match
The Royal Court def The Federation of Champions
In this week's main event match up, we saw the Royal Court take on the Federation of Champions in a Knights of the round table tables match. And before the match could even get under way, Aron Stevens was ejected from ring side!
The Slimeballz were able to get Squire Franks through a table successfully, but the rules clearly state you must put your opponent through a ROUND TABLE, so it didn't count.
The Royal Court were able to regain the advantage again, once Murdoch & Sir Michael were able to hit a high low to Lockjaw on the outside. But it seems Aron Stevens always has a plan, as he took out Sir Michael with the loaded glove, being disguised as a Knight!
In the end, King Trevor Murdoch I was able to hit Buster over the head with a steel chair, putting him through the Round Table and officially securing the victory for the Royal Court.

The Country Gentlemen are officially back from their tour of Europe, and will now be defending the NWA World Tag Team Titles next week against former champions, BFT.
And next week, a new #1 contender to the 10 pounds of gold will be determined, as a 5-way #1 contender's match will take place, including the NWA debut of the 1-man band, Heath!
