NWA POWERRR September 5th Recap: The United States Tag Titles are up for Grabs; a Dog Collar Match with a surprise ending; Heavyweight Tag Team Action; and the Burke is up for grabs in the main event!

This weekend's episode of NWA Powerrr saw lots of exciting action from NWA 78, including a United States Tag Title Match; a dog collar match; heavyweight tag team action; and a main event triple threat match for the Women's World Championship.

Hardway makes quick work of the Jack n Eddie

NWA United States Tag Team Championship Match

The Hardway def Jack n Eddie

Our opening match this week was an NWA United States Tag Team Championship Match with the Hardway, defending the gold against Jack n Eddie. Jack n Eddie started hot, looking to pull off an upset in the Hardway's first title defense of the gold. But they were no match for Dalton McKenzie's Strength!

Jack n Eddie weren't going down without a fight, getting a close 2-count on Jack Vaughn after some tag team offense!

However, even after attempting a double team pile driver, Jack Vaughn was able to over power both of them, executing a double back body drop on both of them simultaneously! Afterwards, the Hardway secured their victory by landing hard times on Jack Valor for the pinfall victory!

Daisy Kills & Eric Smalls look to settle their differences once and for all!

Daisy Kills def Eric Smalls

In our next match, we saw Daisy Kills and Eric Smalls face off in a Dog Collar Match, where Daisy promised that this would put an end to their feud once and for all! And to make sure their was no interference, Big Cuzzo was handcuffed at ringside.

With Big Cuzzo chained to the outside, it left for Kills and Smalls to finally settle their differences. Smalls took the early advantage, but it didn't take long for Daisy to start using the dog chain to his own advantage!

Smalls went for usual signature of aiming for Kills Nuggets, but Daisy seemed to have finally learned from past mistakes, even going so far to taking the ref out with Smalls head into his nuggets!

In the end, a returning Talos came to down to the ring, looking like he was going to take out his old partner Daisy Kills, which was a planned swerve, as he then picked up Smalls and had him ride the lightning! Leading to Daisy Kills being able to touch all 4 corners and win the dog collar match!

Has the Pope finally reached his limits with Big Strong Mims?

Thom Latimer & Alex Hammerstone def The Pope & Big Strong Mims

In our next match up, we saw the new duo of Thom Latimer & Alex Hammerstone take on Big Strong Mims & The Pope. It didn't take long for Hammerstone to show off his absolute RAW Powerrr on Mims.

It didn't take long for Mims & Pope to gain the advantage in the match up, quickly beginning to show off some fluid teamwork!

It looked like Mim's and Pope may have the match won, that was until Hammerstone made his way back into the match and started showing off his overwhelming powerrr on both men!

In the end, Thom Latimer was able to show Mims the Brighter side of Suffering to secure the pinfall victory for the debutting team of Latimer & Hammerstone. Is Pope starting to have doubt in Mims?

Tiffany Nieves stands tall and is still your NWA World Women's Champion

NWA World Women's Championship Match

Tiffany Nieves def Natalia Markova & Gretta

In this week's main event match up, the Burke was on the line as La Princesa Tiffany Nieves defended the gold in a triple threat match against former champion Natalia Markova, and her fellow TV-MA allie, The Giant Gretta! Markova wasted no time bringing the fight to both her opponents in this no limits match!

It didn't take long though for TV-MA to use the numbers game to their advantage, with Gretta swinging her around like a rag doll and Tiffany beating her like one!

Natalia Markova wasn't going out without a fight, hitting shot after shot on all of TV-MA but it all seemed to overpower her, once the entire faction got involved!

In the end, Tiffany Nieves was able to break up a pinfall attempt after Markova hit a MASSIVE samoan drop on the GIANT Gretta, hitting Markova with the burke, and securing the pinfall victory to retain the NWA World Women's Championship.
