NWA POWERRR January 20th Recap: TITLE TUESDAY! 2 New Champions are crowned, A SHOCKING turn of events for Colby Corino, and a main event that stole the show!

Slade captures his first title in the NWA!
NWA World Junior Heavyweight Title Match
Slade def Alex Taylor (C) to become the new NWA World Junior Heavyweight Champion.
The show opened up with our first of 3 title fights for the evening. Alex Taylor was set to defend the NWA World Junior Heavyweight Championship against Slade. Right out of the gate, slade showed that he meant business.
It didn't take long for the champion to take back over, showing Slade that he wasn't the only one with a good ground game.
But once the straps came down, you knew Taylor was entering Slade's territory as he hit a trifecta of suplexes on the World Junior Heavyweight Champion.
Alex Taylor was able to get the upper hand once again, but it seemed the champion was beginning to get cocky, as he started mocking the challenger, after hitting him with a low blow.
In the end though, He was a bit too cocky, as Slade locked in the ankle lock and made Taylor tap, crowning him the brand new NWA World Junior Heavyweight Champion.

TV-MA are once again dripping in GOLD!
NWA World Women's Tag Team Championship Match
TV-MA def The Hex to win the NWA World Women's Tag Team Championships
The next match we saw the vacant NWA Women's World Tag Team Titles contested for between former champions TV-MA & The returning FORMER NWA Women's World Tag Team Champions, The Hex. They didn't waste anytime getting things started.
The hex took control at the beginning of match, quickly showing why they were and still are one of the most dominant tag teams in the NWA Women's Division.
The Hex were proving to be dominant throughout most of the match, even getting a hit on Ms. Starr for trying to get involved.
In the end though, TV-MA were able to distract the referee long enough, for the towering Gretta to get involved in the match and take out The Hex. with Gretta's help, TV-MA were able to become 2x NWA World Women's Tag Team Champions.

Colby Corino SURPRISES US ALL!
After the Tag Title Match, Colby Corino came down to the ring to address the fans about his health. That was until Kerry Morton decided to come down to the ring and tell Colby just how he felt about him, stating the fans do not care when he comes back. Well...let's just say Colby got him right in the nuggets, and too everyones surprise, removed his neck brace.

Main Event: Can Bryan Idol go All Night Long with Rich Swann?

In this week's main event, we saw the NWA World Television Champion Bryan Idol, defend the gold against Rich Swann. Bryan Idol showed right out of the gate just why he hold's the TV Title.
It didn't take long for Rich Swann to pick up the advantage against the champion, showing some of his evasive strikes.
Bryan Idol was pulling out all the tricks, even turning a possible hurricanrana into a spinning tombstone piledriver on the challenger.
In the end, the Looks that kill was able to hit the Killswitch on Swann and get the pin to be the only champion of the night to retain his title.
NEXT WEEK'S ACTION!
Next week on NWA Powerrr, we have 3 massive title fights as the burke and the 10 pounds of gold are both up for grabs, as well as the NWA World Tag Team Championships. Thom Latimer will get his rematch against Silas Mason for the 10 pounds of gold.
We will also see the Immortals defend the NWA World Tag Team Titles against former champions, Blunt Force Trauma.
And in her NWA Debut, Shotzi will take on NWA World Women's Champion Natalia Markova for the burke.
