The road to the Crockett Cup final got a lot clearer on this week's NWA POWERRR, but it was not without its drama. The two semifinal matches determined the teams that will compete for the prestigious trophy, and a shocking main event betrayal has sent ripples through the National Wrestling Alliance.

The Colons pull out the victory against The Holy Grail

Crockett Cup Semifinal #1: The Colons Secure Their Spot


The first semifinal match was a brutal clash between two of the tournament's most dominant teams: The Holy Grail (EC3 and Pretty Boy Smooth) and The Colons. This was a hard-hitting affair with the raw power of The Holy Grail going up against the cunning and veteran skills of The Colons. In the end, it was The Colons who proved to be unstoppable, overcoming their opponents to secure their place in the Crockett Cup finals.


The Immortals take out the World Tag Team Champions

Main Event: The Immortals Prevail, But Knox and Murdoch Betray a Friend


In the main event, the former Crockett Cup winners and NWA World Tag Team Champions, Knox and Murdoch, went head-to-head with the menacing duo of The Immortals (Kratos and Odinson). This was a physical, back-and-forth battle that saw both teams push each other to their limits. In a stunning victory, The Immortals managed to pull off the win, advancing to the Crockett Cup final.


However, the real story came towards the end of the match. After Trevor Murdoch accidentally covered Odinson when he wasn't the legal man, when they went for the high-low on Kratos, Kratos countered with a cutter and covered Mike Knox, which in turn then led to Murdoch taking out the referee. He then began choking out Kratos. Eric Smalls tried coming into the ring to lead them into better ways, but ended up being taken out for his troubles. What will this lead to with the NWA Tag Team Division?
